I have 2 peach trees- planted last year- had close to 100 peaches on them that I could count. A few have been falling down and the chickens ate them around the tree. But there were still plenty- until today- I went to see if any are getting ripe and there isn't a single peach on either tree! And no sign in the yard anywhere of pits or scraps. I live in a neighborhood and have never seen a raccoon around so I'm left assuming its squirrels? Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening again next year? So disappointing.

Develop a taste for squirrel pie! Trap them and kill. That is the only thing I can think of. My husband killed 20 last year. He has to do that every couple years to keep the numbers down or they eat all my fruit.
