Yesterday I braved pressure canning with the Tattler lids. I felt carrots were a safe experiment, so I did half with Tattlers and half with regular lids. One of each kind failed to seal. That was better results than I was expecting. However, I tend to leave the Tattler canned goods on the counter for 48 hrs just to repeatedly check the seal. I found one of my blackberry jams with Tattler lid unsealed in the pantry. It had a verified seal when I put it there. Not sure what happened. handmaid as you know I also have been experimenting with Harvest Guard lids for the first time myself. I had one lid not seal in the very first batch that I used but after I got the hang of it they all sealed after that. However, like you the other day one of my green bean jars became unsealed in the pantry. It was firmly sealed when I placed it there. I will say that I occasionally have had a traditional Ball lid come unsealed also. Not very often but it has happened. I found two grape jelly jars unsealed today. Both Tattler lids. No idea why...

Are al the jars that came unsealed hot water bathed? I have read that some people are having trouble with the hot water bath ones.
