I know this is in local woods and remember gathering it mostly when we were cutting wood to get ready for winter. The smell of it will help you locate it and it is a root you are looking for from root loosened trees. I know the elder said the tea made from this root was healing and good for you! Please share your knowledge of this tea and experiences from using for tea etc...Thanks in advance!
