Ugh. New things. I don't know what it is, but when I face having to do something new, I delay and delay and delay. Then when there is no more delay, I find that it wasn't a big deal at all.
So... I am staring at the celery in the garden. Is it too old? Been in the ground too long? Too woody? How do I want to process it? How do I want to store it? Will probably take an hour to harvest and freeze/dehydrate it. But what do I do? I think about it.... And read up on it. But do I go out there and do it? Nope. 😜
I need a kick in the pants.

If it's past eating quality, dehydrate your celery then make a powder from it. It's a brilliant flavouring for soups, stews, meatloaf or anything that needs a savoury kick.

Only the people who make mistakes are the ones who try...do not give up on your efforts! Sonics suggestion sounds worthy!😎

Yeah that is the diection I am leaning. Got most of it harvested today. In the dehydrator now. Then when the dehydrator is empty, I will pick the remaining amount. Read yesterday that you can slice off celery sticks as it is growing. Did not know that! So will do that next year.

Interesting information to learn. I love celery in recipes and slip it in when I do as the rest of the family would not miss, rather they would pass it up, if offered. Hard to please everyone all the time! I have five + to please. We should count our blessings and bless the cooks! 👒

I can add celery powder and get the flavor and they never know it.
