We succession plant squash, corn, field peas,okra and things that will have time to produce again before frost. We try to get in two plantings of corn, peas, squash, okra and tomatoes. Next month we will start to plant some of our fall crops if the weather is not too hot and dry. We grow both spring and fall potatoes. They will be planted in September. We are in zone 8b.

I am in zone 6B/7A I am planting carrots in July, starting new cabbage plants and succession planting beans and squash. Also planting purple hull peas.

Yesterday I planted more carrots, and today I planted lettuce and kale. I'm in zone 5.
