I post this both as a reminder to myself and to help others. I grew Jackson Wonder Butter beans this year for the first time. The beans have a wonderful taste. That being said they are sold as a bush bean and I consider them more of a half runner much like a purple hull. I planted a little too close and therefore had problems with mildew during a rainy season because of lack of airflow. For anyone planting I would suggest planting along a fence and leaving at the least 24" between plants.
