Turkey cutlets, green beans and corn. Gooseberry pie for dessert. The gooseberry pie you showed on your blog looks mighty good! It was! I caught hubby at 11:00 last night raiding the kitchen for a second piece. That's how you know it is good

It is so hot here, and I have been canning today and not finished yet, so I am beat. I think I will cook a garden meal. Squash casserole, fresh corn, cucumbers with ranch, and some buttered potatoes.

That sounds delightful! It is hot here also. I think I am going to make some cold salads for the fridge. Maybe cucumber and tomato and maybe a pasta salad. That and some sandwich fixings. I baked a chicken for chicken salad sandwiches.

Made some spaghetti sauce in the oven tonight and then sautéed some mushrooms and other veggies to put over my noodles with sauce. Hubby had ground beef with his. It was a quick and easy supper after canning all afternoon.

I’m thinking of cooking a pork roast in the crockpot today since I’ll be canning and busy with that.

I roasted some turnips and beets from the garden, brussel sprouts, and red potatoes with some maple bbq seasoning and then topped it with a tahini dressing (1 T tahini, 1 T dijon mustard, 1 T real maple syrup, dash of salt, thinned out with water). Then I sliced a big heirloom tomato on the side!

I put a pork shoulder roast in the crockpot for tonight. We will have carnitas. The house smells good and no heat from the oven.

Glamorgan sausages and tinned baked beans tonight, I've been baking and making ahead today.
Made some more fruit muffins, a double recipe of Glamorgan sausages, a batch of barbeque sauce, and I'm sweating down some Leek and Mushroom mix for later use and I have some dough proving for Langos.
